That's right, on the new deals section, we will rely on the deals to come from the sources that are offering the deals and will rely on the 'deal watchers' or experts to write advice about getting deals.
Reason: it's impossible for a small number of members to actually read digest and post enough deals to get any kind of coverage so that it will be helpful to the average person who is hoping to get a deal. For example, in the old deals, if you tried to get a deal for flights to paris, you were reliant on some nice member posting real deals. That was rare and spotty.
Now, you can see a whole bunch of offers and members who take and interest in deals can write their opinion and advice about the deals....like you can see we started out some sections with members/staff writing some advice.
We'll soon open that out to members, once the section which is on totally new technology is stable, so that they can continue to write about things they find, what they notice, inside scoop etc.
