They would charge me 170 Namibian dollars for 2. There should be something cheaper than that.

why not hire a car? Those agencies will collect you at any time from the airport. 170 Nam$ are not much for ~ 50 k. Regards, Achim.

We took a taxi when we arrived and thought that for the distance it wasn't so bad.
There is a bus shuttle though that leaves after every flight arrival... details here http://www.namibweb.com/shuttle.html
