Hi, I went to Samoa last year, it is one of the most beutiful places on earth. I went to Coconuts for a day, it is not very close to the main town of Apia, although it is very nice. I stayed at Aggie Greys, that was lovely, the rooms were nice and the people were very caring. There is a restaurant on the main strett, its above a shop, I can't remeber the name but you will see it, it is directly across the road from the beach, I think is called Seas or something like that, you have to go there, they have the most beutiful food

Hi Joe,

I don't know about the Coconuts Beach Club, but you will definively have a good time in Samoa.
Look into staying at beach fales, if you're into unique experiences and are willing to live a simple life but idyllic life for a few days. Hotels are all over the world, but there are few places where you can fall aslep in a small hut next to the waves washing in on the beach at night I would recomend the beach fales at Lalomanu. Or tanu's beach fales aon Savaii. Have a look at my Samoa page for details.

Hi Joe...

Samoa is soooo beautiful. With re: to staying at Coconuts... It is really nice.. but I would only stay there for a day or so.. and then move around.
The wonderful thing about Samoa is you can wander.

Make sure to go To SAVAII... it's just a short ferry trip away.. or quick flight. Stay at Regina's Beach Fales... for an authentic Samoan experience..safe.. food is great..etc..

I Upolu... depending on your budget... Sinalei.. (just next door to Coconuts.. is gorgeous. LOVE the place. If you give me an idea of your budget..and the types of things you want to do.. I can definately give you the do's and don'ts

I have travelled there for the past 10 years.. at least 2x a year.
If you you want luxury- Samoan style.. you have 2 choices..
Sinalei Reef Resort
Aggie Gray's (either resort) ONe.. is in town.. the other way out by the airport, however.. is close to the ferry heading to SAvaii.. So, my advice.. is to stay 2 days.. at each place.. and get a true feeling of the country.
Write me anytime.

I am heading back in late Jan.. early Feb.. Can't get enough..

Blessings... Kristin
