Hi There,

I am going to visit Pisa from 22th till the 24th of August. I am looking for a very cheap place to sleep. A hostel for example. I have found now a place that cost me 110 euro for 2 persons for 2 nights. Is it possible to find a cheaper place?

Have you checked www.hostelbookers.com? There are hostels available for your dates from 18/20 euro per person per night.

You are visiting at the height of the high season, of course, which means prices are also at their highest.

There are a couple of monasteries in Pisa that would be cheaper. One listed on Monastery Stays has no curfew and easily accessed by bus. They list the price as 87€ for a double, but Monastery Stays marks up the prices 10-15€ a night. You can save that by contacting the monastery/convent directly. Private room/private bath/ac/tv. The Pisa tourist board should have contact info.

hi, i am from the area, i work in Pisa. I strongly suggest Claudia Ferri B&B, she is a very popular person in Pisa, she makes a HUGE breakfast included in the price, the rooms are superclean and she has a free airport pick up.
I believe 110 euros for 2 nights is a good price, but be carefull, there is a LOT of rip offs in Pisa right now.. rooms with insects etc... I heard of some people sleeping in a hostel near the train station in a double room, they even had mice... so, just be careful, Tuscany is extremely expensive right now and you must know where you go :-)

monasteries are great, but they are expensive and often out of the way, the B&B I suggest is pretty central, 10-15 minutes on foot from the tower, trAIn station etc, airport is just 2 minute ride
