We are planning on traveling around NZ in a motorhome, and I was wondering if anyone of you knows where I could find some good cheap motorhome deals.

The cheapest I have seen is roughly 2500 nz dollars (just over 900 UK pounds) Surely there is cheaper!

You will struggle to find cheaper motorhomes, as you travel during the peak season, including the peak of the peak season.

You can get cheaper campervans but motorhomes (with toilet/shower) come at a price.

I have listed some of those companies on my NZ page (Transportation tips), with prices, so you can compare a bit. Of course, there are a lot more companies - but you get an idea.

As Sissi says: unlikely. We actually found it much cheaper to rent a car and sleep in cabins at camp sites.

Friends of mine have lately also travelled in a new Spaceship and loved it. However, it really is relatively small, so they stayed in hostels and motels several times, so they were able to stretch their legs.

Hi I have visited NZ. We rented a 2 berth camper van with toilet and shower from adventure campervans. I can fully recommend this company. The hot water was heated from the engine and from 240 mains power. You need to fill up the water and empty the toilet every 2 to 3 days so we sometimes stayed at holiday parks, also of the larger towns have dump points to empty the toilet and sometimes there is a tap to fill up the water here as well. Some service stations let you fill up with water as well. Make sure you get diesel as they are a lot more economical to run. THEY ALSO HAVE SOLAR POWER SO YOU CAN FREE CAMP

I actually emailed them and asked for their best price they were very helpful.remember basic insurance is included and any excess is included in your travel insurance which I assume you will get.
