how's the weather?

We arrive in Cozumel in two weeks time- can't wait! How's the weather at the moment? I've looked at alot of weather websites but all they say is things like "heavy rain showers" and they don't say if this means throughout the day, or just usually one heavy shower and then clear. Does anyone know?Anyone there right now? Am starting to think my holiday will be a weather washout!!

Due to extreme climatic changes the World is experiencing at the moment, trying to predict the weather can be difficult because of local, on the day variations.
Most places now are seeing weather conditions well outside the norm.

We were there for the day (cruise stop) last week. I think it was Thursday. It was very hot and humid. It did rain in the morning, but not for very long. I think it actually made it feel a little hotter.

Yes, it usually is a heavy shower that will last for an hour or 2, or even less. However I'm surprised at the previous post re: raining in the morning...... those showers usually happen in the afternoon. But in any case it's not like it's raining aaaaaall day long.... it will rain on and off but I don't think that will ruin your vacation.

We have been in Cozumel for 3 weeks and I got the weather report on my Blackberry. It said rain everyday and there was 30min of rain during the entire stay...I guess the weather reports got something wrong there!!

thanks for all your replies, just got back and had amazing weather! The forecasts i saw said heavy rain as well and was starting to panic- it rained twice for 10 mins each time- that was it! great weather and great holiday!
