Lleida Lleida - city and train to La Pobla de Segur

How is the transportation inside Lleida? Is Lleida walkable?

Also, there is a train that goes to La Pobla de Segur, looks like it will take about six hours to do the round trip. Has anyone taken this train to Puebla de Segur? Looks like there's one and a half hours in between the return - any intersting things to do in Pobla de Segur during that time?

yes Lleida/Lérida is walkable i enjoy the view from the Ascensor de la Seu Vella and bell tower there.La Seu Vella or old city has many winding streets very picturesque.
As far as the train, do not know, never taken it.No being to Pobla de Segur.
Lleida did visit for curiosity havanna club, nice live music salsa style. was just passing thru by car.

Hello. I am from Tarragona and some years ago I went to La Pobla de Segur from Lleida. It's really nice trip.

Thank you Guillem ... at this point I have decided to head north into Cantabria, but in the process I have accumulated a couple of places I want to visit in Catalunya so this will be one of them. Funny I had this initial link, but did not get to the particular page you sent, this is good info.

btw, how was your recent trip? Not sure if it was a honeymoon trip, and if you were looking at Lake Como or Portugal ... you posted a short time back ...
