Can you take your dog to Pikes Place Market. He is 5lbs. and will be on a leash or in a carrier? If not is there a place to leave him while you look around? Thanks, Lora

I have seen dogs there, but it is definitely discouraged. In summer, the market can be chock-a-block with people, and your dog certainly won't enjoy the experience, and if you had him on a leash, he'd probably get trampled. Leave him somewhere else (your hotel?). I certainly wouldn't leave him chained up to a post outside the market = one miserable dog. Best to not bring him.

Because he's so small, you might get away with taking him in a carrier of some sort, but it would have to be pretty unobtrusive. I agree with the other reply that he would be scared and get trampled on a leash, and that you absolutely should not leave him tied up around there.
