BING Travel Servers Down
Posted: Fri July 3, 2009 06:05 PM UTC
Since VT has BING as a new advertiser on its pages, I just noticed that due to a fire last night in Seattle the BING travel servers are down until about 5:00 p.m. PST today, July 3rd. Does VT have a backup plan in case its servers go down? I'm working on a similar disaster recovery project for our servers at work and have been keeping my eyes and ears open for things like this.

We have lots of redundancy built into our system. It's unlikely that we'd suffer a similar fate.
