My family ended up in a Polish Setllement Camp called Koja in Uganda.
My Auntie would like to go back to visit Koja, if this place still exists. I believe it was on Victoria Lake. They left there for England in 1948. |

I was well curious when I read your tip thought I new Uganda but never heard of Koja. I take it you Googled and found this like I did.

Yes, I had seen that.
My Auntie told me that the camp had ben supplied with running water and electricity, so it was thought that when the Polish poeple left Koja that the Ugandans would move in, seems that is not the case and Koja has vanished into the bush from where it was born.
