Bolivia Border crossing
Posted: Thu July 2, 2009 09:44 PM UTC
I'd heard from a friend of a friend (you know, its fairly second-hand information) that the border crossing from Bolivia to Argentina is a bit crazy, with a crowd of people waving passports at the border guards. Is this true, or is there a bit more order to it?

Cheers,
Paddy

I'm not sure if its true or not, I haven't been able to find much about it. Sounds like it could be an interesting part of my trip.

Sounds typical of most border crossings in South America :) Usually worse going into Bolivia since the Bolivian Agents seem to take frequent breaks and close up shop for extended periods so no one can "officially" enter or exit the country :) That might be the reason there is such a frantic backup crossing into Argentina...
