Has anyone been to the Swarvoski Crystal store in Innsbruck? Is everything in the store at full retail price? Do they have sale? If not, I thought I would just buy my gifts here in So California at the mall.

Went there a couple of years ago. If you collect Swarvoski it's worth seeing but fairly pricey to get in. As for buying crystal - they're double the UK price and there were no reductions. Suggest you do your homework and look at the duty free in the airport and at home - there are no seconds! We were horrified at the prices

Do you mean the Swarovski store in Innsbruck city (near Golden Dachl) or the store at Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens (20 kms from Innsbruck) ?

I've been to both several times. The prices in both stores are similar to those here in Belgium. The can be some discount actions, but they're limited. I can't compare to fax free prices at airports.

At the Swarovski Kristallwetten the prices are not lower that in other shops, but the choice is huge. I would recommend to go there only to collectors who look for something special that is not easy to find otherwise.
