I've read some previous VT tips regarding ODC and they seem to be generally favorable so I intend to book an overnight cruise with them. To have a confirmed booking however, their terms in their website stated that they need not just my credit card details but also my 3 signatures.

Since I'm suppose to divulge credit card info, I need to know if this is a reliable company and if others who have toured with them had no booking problems.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do this! I need $10M to be deposited to my account too, are you willing? If they won't take Xoom (or another funds transfer) you'd better look elsewhere.

I have paid for lots on the internet with a credit card and never, ever have been asked for signatures. I would not do this, it is not the norm. As the other person said, BEWARE, look elsewhere, I would.

Thanks for the responses. I wouldn't be so concerned if there is a need to input credit card info using secure sites but I did become skeptical too when they needed signatures that's why I popped this message. Anyway, I'll just look for other tour companies who not require such personal information.

I paid ODC in HaNoi for two day-tours by credit card from the US without any problem. The English-speaking guides were, by the way, terrific.

I also did a Halong Bay tour with ODC Travel and nothing come to mind to complain about payment method or tour quality.

I contacted them via email, the sale girl in their office guided me carefully to make the payment. I was nervous about my personal info but I did not have to give out my signatures as you had, just filled in the form they provide then sent here with a copy of credit card,informed them and that was all. They notified me when they get the money, confirmed services.

She also said that they will improve their payment system soon and apply online payment as soon as possible to make their customers comfortable. Do not know now they use new method or not but I hope to save my time on payment next time.
