Very pointed Singapore question.

I am looking for a very specific Singapore experience...not one like that...and I want to let you all know what I am looking for and maybe you can direct me in the right direction.

First I am looking for a decent hotel close to any beaches.

Second I want to know of a decent casino that has a Texas Hold'em card room.

Third and last I would like to be close to the night life, clubs/bars etc etc.

Basically I want to hang on the beach during the day, gamble some at night, and go to the clubs at night. Any help would be great.

The first casino in Singapore will be open next year in Sentosa Island. If you come now, you can only see the construction on going. Sentosa Island has 2 beaches which you can relax, but do not have high expectations as the water is not so clear. Night life, clubs and bars are clustered in many places. Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Orchard Road gives you many options. Check out my Singapore page for more details.

Singapore's Sentosa beach is the only beach I know in Singapore and it's man made. If you want real beach experience, why not go to Bali, Indonesia or Philippines?

For nightlife in Singapore, you can go to Clark Quay. They have bars and lots of eclectic restaurants. Here are the things you can enjoy in Singapore: Chinese, Malaysian and Singaporean cuisine, Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park. These are described in my article.

As the others have suggested, Singapore really isn't the place to go if you want a beach and casino holiday. There's no casino and no beaches worth talking about. Nightlife is also tame copared to many other countries.

the beaches in singapore are nothing to write home about.as for casinos, the casinos in genting highland in kulalumpur,malaysia is good.but night life in singapore isnt really much.
