Toronto Cheap way to get to Montreal from Toronto

Dear all, hi, I am going to visit Montreal in the mid of July. As to the information I now have, I can either take train, bus or flight to there. Unfortunately, I am a budget traveller, so taking flight is not my issue. I wonder any other cheap ways to go to Montreal?

Check rental car agencies for one way relocation of vehicles. If they have some needing to be moved from one location to another you can travel quite inexpensively.

www.viarail.ca will be your best option. www.greyhound.ca is another but I prefer the train.

Personally I prefer the train but bus is cheaper. If you are in Toronto for a couple of days you'll find that you can get cheaper tickets a couple of days in advance from the bus station instead of buying online.

Have a good trip - Montreal is a fun city!

Bus is definitely the cheapest. You can also check out ride-shares from craigslist.
