hi, we are looking for hostel/hotel(not very expensive but quite comfortable) for a couple of nights in the middle of July . what can we see in Tallinn? any recommendations?

PS we are looking after professional/semi-professional(a wedding specialization) photographer in the 3-rd October too!

Lots to see in Tallinn.....the old city is lovely with lots to explore, the nearby outdoor ethnographical museum excellent and the area around Kadriog palace beautiful. My Tallinn pages have some info, and the official tourist information site is useful:

Misread your post...thought you only wanted hostels.

I searched for and booked Tallinn hotel accommodation using www.booking.com but it is not what I'd call an inexpensive city.

When looking for accommodation in Tallinn, don't use international booking webpages. There you can find only the most expensive (but not always the most comfortable). Also if you use smaller companies your Estonian experience will be much deeper ;)

(translations: hotell-hotel, hostel-hostel, külalistemaja-guesthouse, külaliskorterid-guest apartments, puhkemajad-vacation houses)

My own recommendation would be http://www.cityguesthouse.ee/files/en/index.html, which has PERFECT location, nice pricing and is pretty comfy.
