Amman Travelling from amman to beirut

Hi guys,
I'll be staying in amman for 3weeks during august and would like to visit beirut for a few days, can anyone tell me the best and most well priced ways of doing so?

Assuming you want to do this by road (cheap) rather than flying (expensive), you have 2 options, bus or shared taxi (servis). To do this trip there will be a transit through Syria, for which you will need a visa, and what that entails will depend on the passport you travel on.

Yes the cheapest option would be the best, do youy know how long the journey is approximately from amman to beirut via syria and approximately how much I can expect to pay for taxi/shared bus?

Amman to Damascus was in december 11 Jordan Dinar (ca € 12) by service taxi (probably only 1 bus per day, 7 Dinar) about 3-4 hour. Bus Damascus to Beirut was 350 Syrian Lira (ca. € 7), also 3-4 hour, leaving from Sumariyah Garage (far outside, service taxi arrives at a different place)
