Hi,

Now, I saw an apartment in west 73rd between Central Park west and Columbus Avenue.
Please, what´s your opinion about the zone ?.Is it close from the downtown ?

It is a fine area, just 1 block from the Dakota, where Lennon was shot. Are you signing a legitimate 1 year lease, or "subletting" from a stranger online? There are many scams and frauds out there.

Footstool is right - that area is very nice. Nothing in NYC is very far from downtown. The transportation - buses and subways - is good and fast.

OK, so this is an entire apartment that you're renting for 3 days? Or are you crashing on somebody's couch? there's been alot of exposure lately of legitimate Manhattan apartments which have been rented as hotel rooms. You rent them at your own risk.
