Las Vegas Birthdays in Las Vegas - Labor Day weekend
Posted: Wed June 24, 2009 07:26 PM UTC
Hi, Can anyone tell me if September is a good month to go to Vegas? Any recommendations for a birthday, are there any good hotels to celebrate at?

Is there anything going on for Labor Day celebrations there?

If anyone is there the first week of Labor Day and wants to meet up for some gambling or dinner, let me know.

Anytime is a good time to go to Vegas! Labor Day weekend will be busy. It's the last hurrah for most people as school starts back up in September. Have a great time!

I was there for the week of Labor Day last year....In September, the heat starts to go away, so you can expect highs to only be in the low 100's:)

I didn't notice any special events for the holiday, but then again I was taking frequent day trips out of town. It will be busy, but temperature should be just about perfect when you walk the strip at night.

Labor Day weekend will be busy and you'll pay more for hotels. Its still hot low 100's.About the middle of Sept it starts to cool down so if you waited till the end of Sept it would be better less crowds and cheaper hotels.Depends on what you like to do but all the big hotels have something to do shows clubs gambling etc.

I'm going to be there over Labor Day to celebrate my 31st/coming home from Iraq. I know I'm going to go to the Thunder from Down Under, and I'm hopefully also going to go to the Def Leppard/Poison/Cheap Trick show.

If you sign up for the "Player's Club" at whichever hotel you wind up staying in, and charge your drinks/etc. to your room, you might get them comped when you go to check out. My mom and I found that out a little too late when we had forgotten to take cash to the pool, and both wanted drinks -- when we checked out they said they were comped. She's not exactly a big roller, so it was a nice perk!

Hi and thanks for the great advise, I know it is hot, but it is a special birthday for me, and it is 104 degrees in Dallas now.

So, I can take the heat, don't like it but I will have a great time, lots of fun things to do!!

Keep the info coming if anyone wants to add to this forum..

Thanks to all!

That's what frosty drinks at the pool are for!
