Very close to where you stay is "Fishermans Warf" - good place to eat sea food, 15-20 mins drive takes you to Betalbatim where you will find "Martins Corner" - its the place in south goa to feast and during weekends they have live bands performing retro and popular songs, you can dance as well. There's also Zeebop(shack) at Utorda beach, not too sure if they will be open during off-season, one more good place to eat. You have a lot of other places to eat(offcourse no food without drinks in goa)as well in south Goa.

You may want to go to north goa(baga beach) and spend a day at St.Anthony's Cafe and wind up with dinner at Britto's, you could watch the sunset from Chapporra fort(its a 10 mins steep climb, if you have the energy for it its worth the effort, dont forget to take a few cans of beer with you) the same evening between St.Anthony's brunch/lunch and Britto's dinner.

Happy travels.

Places to visit over your 2 weeks stay -

South Goa :

Palolem/Patnem/Agonda beaches - quite beaches and Palolem is considered the most scenic beach in Goa

Between Cavelossim and Palolem/Patnem/Agonda is Cabo De Rama Fort

You can take a ferry from Mobor to the above beach and hire a bike for a day and look around.

Panjim(Central Goa) - Evening sunset cruise on the Mandovi(Panjim) and during the day you could visit the historic heritage site of "Bom Jesus Basilica"

North Goa :

Morjim & Arambhol are the most secluded beaches of Goa, worth a day's visit

Visit the Fort Aguada

North Goa is known for its parties/night clubs, if your up for it many a clubs like Tito's/Mambo's/Paradiso/Club Cubana(all night parties)

There are numerous very good restaurants in Cavelossim itself. If you are going during the season you will also find a large number of beach shacks that serve up all sorts of dishes and at very cheap prices. Just down the road at Mobor you will find Betty’s Place (facing the Holiday Inn), which is one of the best restaurants in the area.

Hope this is of assistance,

Dave
