I will be arriving in Copenhagen airport on 28th July (Tuesday), and leaving on Thursday night for Oslo on a night bus.

I have not decided yet where to stay (in Copenhagen or Odense).

Please help me plan my trip:
1) How much does it cost on public transport from Airport to Copenhagen?
2) How much does it cost on public transport from Airport to Odense?
3) How much does it cost on public transport from Copenhagen to Odense? (I read it is a 1.5 hr journey, but not much more)
4) Any new hostel you can recommend? I don't smoke or drink and happy with a quiet place.

from the eirport to copenhagen you have both train and metro and they cost the same and both take around 20 minutes.
the price is 33 danish kroner if i remember right and that is roughly 3,5 euro.

from the airport to odense will cost you around 250 danish kroner (32euro) and it´s a one and a half hour journey as you wrote.

from copenhagen center to odense is roughly the same price.

in copenhagen you have this very centrally located hostel that is new, clean and usually not a loud party place:

things could be a little different next week though as one of the biggest music festivals is this weekend and there might be a lot of people coming from that party.

in odense you have this very centrally located hostel and that should be quiet i would think as there are no big parties around odense next week and that town generally attracts tourists who are there to visit the hans christian andersen museum and not there to party.

sorry i mesread the dates you were coming and thought it was june 28 and now i see it´s july 28.
in that case you won´t have the problem with all the people returning from the festival, but make sure to reserve your accomodation in advance as that week is generally one the busiest week of the year in the copenhagen hotels.
