I will be arriving in Manila at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1. There are 2 of us and we arrive at 10pm and 11pm. Does anyone have suggestions on where to meet each other in or around the terminal 1 in order to get a taxi together to the hotel?

It is a small terminal- if you clear customs you can just wait in the arrivals hall, I am sure you will see your friend come out of customs an hour later- its quite small. If you really want to be sure , arrange to meet on the left as you come out of customs near the ATM machines. Really- dont sweat it, you will see each other
Taxi to Hotel. I never take the official airport taxis out the front of arrivals as they are 2 to 3 times as expensive ( say 400 pesos to Makati or about US$8.5), I usually go up to departures and grab one of the Taxis dropping a person off and that costs me more like 170 pesos to Makati ($3.70), but then I am a cheap skate.

I agree you can just wait outside the door or even at baggage claim.I came in once at that time and there was about a 2 hour wait to get through imigration so you might be in line when she comes in and can find you in the line.
