We are leaving for Berlin next week and we have started to discuss what to do. One of the ideas is a daytrip to Potsdam and a boat trip back to Berlin in the evening, but I have not found any boats from Potsdam to Berlin. Does anyone know if there are such boats? I have been looking around and found one boat from Wannsee to Berlin. Does anyone know if the boat is within walking distance from the S-Bahnhof in Wannsee? I would be happy for all tips!

Stern+Kreis tour H9. Only Tuesdays and departs at 11:15. Not exactly an evening cruise.

Think this is also the more interesting part than from Wannsee into the city.

All evening and moonlight cruises I know about are only in the city centre.

Thanks for the information. We will be in Berlin Thursday-Monday, do you think it would be enough to book tickets for the Sunday trip on Thursday?

Also if anyone know of boats a bit later in the evening I would be thankful for that information as well.

Yes.

You can also ask at their sales points. If company X does really not offer what you're looking for, but company Y does, they will normally redirect you to company Y.

I just returned from Berlin, and we did do the boat trip from Potsdam to Tegel.
We went to Potsdam in the morning, walked to Park Sanssouci and watched all the old buildings and castles there, walked back to the city centre, through the Brandenburger Tor of Potsdam and upp Brandenburger Str., which is the shopping street of Potsdam. The tour took 3-4 hours on foot.

We did not prebook any tickets for the boat, we bought them onboard. Even though it was very nice weather the boat that could take 500 persons maybe had 50 travellers. It was a very nice trip and I can recommend if you want to take a daytrip from Berlin. I will add more information from my trip to my profile within short.
