Madrid/Toledo/Madrid/Barcelona Same day?

I am planning to take 9:20am train to Toledo from Madrid and return same day to Madrid on the 5:30PM train that arrives Madrid at 6:00PM. I then want to take the train for Barcelona that departs Madrid at 7:00PM. Is the 1 hr connection enough time? Thanks in advance. Jerry

Yes. The train to Toledo leaves from MADRID-PUERTA DE ATOCHA. Same station for the AVE to Barcelona. You will have a chance to walk up to the Prado grounds or whatever.

You should have time but I would personally take an earlier train into Toledo (assuming you're traveling during the summer) it can get quite hot so getting an early start is good.

I agree with the previous post...the earlier you arrive, the better.

There are lots of things to see in Toledo, and it will be very hot(if you go in the summertime).

Since you will be arriving at, and departing from Madrid Atocha station, and since RENFE AVE punctuality is around 99.8%, barring some major misfortune (for which you will be refunded if it is RENFE's fault), you will have no problems whatsoever.
