My friends and I are spoilt for choice between a trip to

1. Perfume Pagoda,
2. a city tour,
3. Tam Coc (Inner Halong Bay),
4. Hanoi - Bich Dong Cave and
Thung Nang - Capital Hoa Lu,
5. Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National Park
6. Kenh Ga Hotspring - Phat Diem Cathedral.

We can pick two from the above. Any suggestions or recommendations (taking into account the heat in Hanoi at the moment)? Thanks.

At this time Hanoi temperature is 35 C degree (sometimes reaching 38 - 40) so you should choice there tours:
3. Tam Coc (Inner Halong Bay),
5. Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National Park
If you want to visit more places, i recommend you to go Perfume Pagoda.It's really paradise in the world.:) There temperature is not so hight and there are many wonderful sightseeings.

You must have a visa before you go.You can go to Vietnam embassies in your country, you can find Vietnam embassíe adress at your place at:

It maybe take a long time :)

1. City tour.
2. Tam Coc, Bich Dong, Thung Nang, Hoa Lu can be done in 1 day.
Kenh Ga is not as beautiful as Tam Coc.
If you have 2 days, it's worth it to do 2 days trip with Tam Coc, Bich Dong, Thung Nang, Hoa Lu, Cuc Phuong, Kenh Ga, Phat Diem. A bit tight schedule but since you want to cover them all. it's possible.

I think a city tour is a must.

Then, you should have some interesting activities.
+ If you like trekking, Cuc Phuong National Park is a good choice.
+ If you like biking, Tam Coc is highly recommend.
