any good hotels in lima?

My parents want to go to visit Peru but they are planning on staying for a month.
Anyone knows a good, safe and cheap hotel in Lima???
They are in their 50's and planning to stay 1 week in Lima and 2 to 3 weeks in Cusco.
Have anyone been in any of these hotels? http://www.cuscoperu.com/cusco/hotels-accommodations/041-accommodations-hotels-cusco.php and what about Cusco? do you know any of these http://wikitravel.org/en/Cuzco? Or maybe another one?

I understand that you want something cheap. Here my suggestions:
colonial palace **
Hostal santa maria **
Juan Masias **
All of them are close to the main plaza much much better I have checked them on my own (cause I work as a tour operator in Lima)

Hotel Econo Lodge is a good place to stay.
This Hotel is located less than five miles from Eastgate Mall, The Ohio State University at Lima and the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center, close to financial centres and tourist attractions of Lima.
Its also near golf courses like the Colonial Golfers Club and Hawthorne Hills Country Club.
