You'll need about 1 day per town to visit, and although Cannes, Nice and Monaco are all 30min away from each other, St Tropez is a lot further away. I don't know much about St Tropez except for Nikki Beach (which is fantastic) but in Cannes there are some nice private beaches and Clubs, the islands of Lerins in front are nice and you can go there for the day by boat (10min ride), Nice has a nice old town and fort ruins on the rock, and Monaco although small, has nice restaurants, and you must see the Palace, the Casino, the Jardin Exotique with it's cave and the Oceanographic museum.
Hope it helps!

I don't really 'get' the question. If I was in a car I could travel from St.Trop to Monte Carlo in about 2 to 3 hours. Of course this would not involve stopping and dependent on the time and day. So in fact the distances involved are not too great. The largest distance between two of those places is from St.Trop to Cannes and is about 85 kms or say 50 miles.
Is your question about how long you should plan to stay in the Riviera? Depends on your other plans and budget. It would be possible to 'do' each place in 4 hours meaning you can cut down your overall time. But you could spend one night in each also. But I don't think you want that. Nice & Monte Carlo/Monaco are close. Hit St.Trop first then decide? You can go from St.Trop via Cannes to Nice area. Inland from Nice is really nice - plenty of super Provencale villages and frankly if you find one you like I would skip going to Greece.

days??? more hours. 5 days is plenty to see them all, and some to spare. As you count four cities Nice,Cannes, St Tropez and Monte Carlo, you have one day left to explore ::)
try Menton on you way to Greece.
