Hi,
could anybody tell me about the weather in the first half of Oktober? I know that the average temperature is about 22 c, but what about the temperature of water? Is it enough warm for swimming in the sea?

there is quite a big difference in the water temperature depending on what part of the algarve you are in.
the western algarve has cold water pretty much all year around as it is very affected by the atlantic sea, but the eastern algarve has good water for swimming in october with around 20-22 degrees.
