Los Angeles LAX Parking

I notice that most of the hotels along Century Blvd. charge a lot of money for parking while staying at the hotels. Are there any side streets/residential areas where one could park nearby and walk to the hotel?

Westchester is located on the north side of LAX and there are residential neighborhoods within walking distance of the airport. El Segundo is located on the south side of the airport and there are residential neighborhoods were you could possibly park and take a ten minute bus ride to the airport. I would check the parking signs very carefully.

ParknFly is currently offering a special at LAX for $8.95 a day http://www.pnf.com/lax/default.htm

This a great organization that I use frequently in Minneapolis.

Have a safe trip.

If you are interested in exploring parking in a residential neighborhood, I would suggest Belford Avenue right off of Manchester Blvd. There are many apartments along this street and I doubt there is restricted parking in this area. To get there from LAX go north on Supulveda Blvd (1-2 miles), turn right on Manchester Blvd (1 Mile), right on Belford Avenue and watch for a parking place. It is probably 30-45 minute walk to LAX or you could take the bus either from Manchester Blvd or Supulveda Blvd. Good luck!

I'd pay for the parking. It is safier for your vehicle. You run the risk in being broken into or getting a ticket. Some neighborhoods in this area do not allow this because they do not want folks parking their cars while traveling in the airport. So it is risky.

Have a safe trip,

I think the safest bet is to pay for parking. You get security and some insurance that your car will still be there when you return.

A lot of the airport parking lots look the same, but you want to make sure you get a fast shuttle and are able to find the place. I am always running late out of LAX - I like to blame the traffic but it is usually my fault. I use Park Ride Fly USA to find the best rate because the lots seem to change their rates a lot, and I like to look at them side by side, and I don't want to drive all over LAX comparing rates and hoping they have a spot.

I hope this helps!
