Is the le royal meridian suitable for children?

The website will give you most of the info you need. They do have a children's club and a big choice of good restaurants. The hotel is also close to The Walk at Dubai Marina, which is a 2km stretch of restaurants so you have plenty of choice nearby if you don't want to eat the expensive hotel food. There are many more in Mall of the Emirates and Madinat Jumeirah which are both a short taxi ride away

From the airport the best way is taxi (hotels usually charge ridiculous amounts for their transfers). Plenty are lined up at the official airport taxi rank, it's all well-regulated, they're metered, air-conditioned, uniformed drivers etc. Just follow the signs to the taxi rank - ignore the occassional tout who may offer you a taxi as you walk there, we have a few pirate taxis and that's what they'll be. Fare to the hotel will be AED90 or thereabouts.
