Hello, fellow travellers! Does anyone know how I can get in touch with the Vietnam Airlines Airport Taxi company (preferably, a website or email address)? I had a situation with one of their drivers on my recent trip to Hanoi and my attempts to get to the bottom of things at their office in Hanoi were basically impossible, as I don't speak Vietnamese and they didn't speak English. I have also tried a Google search but have not been successful. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Viet Nam now has two airlines however Vietnam air is by far the best of the two and as for a taxi, try to make a friend on the flight as you can split the cost of the taxi. Be sure the driver sets the meter and if possible, try to have a map so you can be sure your not taken for a ride -- the long way as is common.

I forget the other airline that is about 1.5 years old now. The only good this about them is they have a free bus to take you from the ticket office to the airport.

Sorry dont really know the answer but just to say I had a situation with a taxi driver at the Vietnam Airlines stand.Be careful anyone using the taxis from there I had a bad time when we got to the airport concerning the fare.

When you travel a lot these types of things are going to happen unless you are super careful in agreeing the total fare. Remember that some of these people have a jaundiced view of business practices and consequently they see it as normal to "load up" fares when they can. My suggestion is that you accept what happened as one of life's lessons and move on. From experience, attempting to contact Vietnam Airlines or anyone else for some sort of resolution here will only lead to more hassles for you.
