Go south on Bathurst until you see the first highway overhead above you. This will be the Gardiner Expressway. Follow signs to get on the Gardiner westbound. The Gardiner will eventually turn into the QEW highway, just keep going straight. Stay on the QEW all the way to Niagara Falls. This will go over the Skyway Bridge just past Burlington. Do not follow signs to Niagara-on-the-Lake (unless you want to go there too, a quaint town). Once in Niagara, follow signs to "The Falls", or just "Falls", and then look for parking lot signs - they will be everywhere.
The whole trip should take about 2 hours if there isn't major traffic. It shouldn't be too bad leaving Toronto in the morning, once you get past the 427 exit (don't take it), as you will be going against the flow of traffic.
