OK, if you were a group of 5 friends touring Tasmania starting in Hobart and ending with either Launceston or Davenport, what would YOU see for the roughly 11 days or so that your touring the island in a self rented car? Mind you this will be in early November of 2010.

I would definitely go to;
Strahan, & take a cruise down the Gordon river
Queenstown, to see the lunar like landscape.
Port Arthur, ruins of former convict settlement
Bicheno, east coast fishing port famous for its seafood
The whole island is wonderful you will have a great time
