Could I take a taxi from Florence airport to Forte dei Marmi? How much would it cost?

sure you could take a taxi, rather expensive for more then 100 km.
why not a train till Viareggio and then taxi from there?
1class train it will cost less then 10 eur and it taks less then two hours for regional trains otherwise in the morning (07:55) Eurocity it costs 18,50 1class and 13,30 2class and it arrives to Viareggio at 09:13.
From Viareggio station to Forte dei Marmi is a short ride and the driver may already know where you want to go and you waste less time (beside money).

You do not have to buy yout ticket in advance. You can easily get it from the station.

Italian trains are safe, comfortable and reasonably-priced. No reason at all to take a taxi all the way, unless expense is no object.
