Accommodation required August 2009

Hello, I am having great difficulty getting in touch with anyone on La Graciosa to answer their phones or emails about apartments to rent.
I would like an apartment for 14 days on La Graciosa from 1st August till 15th August. Can anyone help me get in contact with the many holiday apartment owners to get back to me regarding availability and booking. Many thanks

Are you sure there are many holiday apartments on this small island. It lies within the Parque Natural del Archipiélago Chinijo, a protected natural zone and when friends of mine visited it be ferry from Lanzarote it was very sparsely inhabited. They went there just for occasional days to "get away from it all" and enjoy the peace and seclusion.

I agree with ranger49. When I read your post I tought it is "weird". I didn´t see many hotel rooms or apartaments easily bookable in the island of "La graciosa".

Maybe you are talking about a group of buildings called "La graciosa" in any other canary island?

I have rented on the Island before and there are many operators renting rooms and apartments, so it isn't "weird" at all, just the comments on blogs.
I didn't ask for opinions, I just asked of people who might know of and how to contact the many who have apartments and rooms to let.
the Island is devoid of many of the "weird souls" who inhabit this planet, one of its many attractions.

I am sorry if I couldn´t express myself properly. I didn´t want to ofend you or call you weird at all. Please understand that english is not my firt language and I just wanted to help.

Off course that La graciosa is a beautifull island. I have seen it from Lanzarote and it looks like paradise. I wish you the best of luck.
