Hi, I'm again travelling to Punta Cana & this time staying in a resort (instead of an apt.) at Bavaro Beach. My boyfriend is a local guy from San Pedro & I've heard the resorts don't always welcome the locals. We'll be staying at an all-inclusive & wondered if you've heard of any situations. thanks.

I guess it all depends on how he carries himself. I'm a local too and I've never been stopped or refused entry anywhere in the country.
