Hi,

Im new to the forum so wanted to start with a big hi and thank-you in advance to any help i get.
I am looking to travel to Malta for a holiday, to check it out really as I plan to move there with my fiancee.
I have seen a georgous villa in Siggiewi. Can anyone tell me what this area is like or if it is a no go?
Could some one please help me with some advice for Malta? Or evan the best places to visit for a holiday so i can get a feel of the areas to move to.

Problem with what you ask is that one could write a novel but still not answer your questions.

Siggiewi is one village of many. Not an exciting one but very livable.

I fear you need to make friends for you to be able to see if you can live here.
Just do the touristy thing then talk to real-estate agents.
No one can advise you if you will be happy here if they do not know you, your likes and dislikes, whether you are retired or working, if you have kids, what age you are, why you are looking to live away from home and why did you pick Malta.

I can help but you need to help me to help you.

If I was you I would stay in Sliema it is a holiday resort and a Maltese town then travel to whatever village you want Malta is so small it is easy to get around, I would like to live in Naxxar but I wouldn't holiday there because on a holiday I like some nightlife. I did stay in Attard earlyer this year and enjoyed it but we did travel to Valletta and Mdina on a night.
