Be aware that public transport in Cyprus is very limited and there will only be few buses each day.
Also not that there are no buses (or any public transport for that matter) between the south and anywhere in the north - that includes Kyrenia/Girne.

For going from city to city there are shared taxis called "Travel Express" - You need to call them in advance and they will then pick you up at or near your hotel.

The distance from Nicosia to Limassol is about 70 Km and from Limassol to Paphos about the same. There is a motorway all the way and by car Nicosia to Paphos takes about 90 minutes when keeping to the speed limit of 100 Km though up to 120 Km per hour is tolerated by the police.

I have never travelled by bus so I can't say, do they follow the motorway or use the slower secondary roads?

Most people use the taxi service (Akis Express) which picks people up and lets the off at the points they choose but only within the urban area of each city. I believe the fare from Nicosia to Limassol is no more than 10 Euro. Limassol to Paphos must be the same. They finish running about 7 pm. Their number is (0044) 77 77 74 74

There are also buses running regularly between about 5 am and midnight from Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos straight to Larnaca Airport. The fares are 5, 7 and 14 euro respectively.
