Hello,

I am planning to travel to Lithuania and the other two Baltics this summer for one month. I just heard that the costs got fastly rised after EU membership there.

Could you please write me some sample costs in Lithuania in Euros please?

A cheap meal in a cafe
A good meal in a restaurant but not luxury one
A local beer in a bar
A vodka in a bar or club
A cheap but okay single room in a guesthouse or pension
A small, central apt to rent
Enterance to a museum
A botle of water in market
A bus drive for 5 or 6 hours

hello
well Lithuania is surelly not so expensive as France or UK or many other EU countries. Here are some of aprox. prices;

A simple meal day meniu( soup or salad, hot meal and coffee)statts from 2 euros.
Meal in medium class restaurant 10 euros
Local beer from 1.5 euro
Room in guest house starting from 15 euros
Apartment rent 30 euros (can be negotiated for less)
Museum entrance 1.5-5 euros
Water in market 0.3-1 euro.
Single ticket in town about 0.6 euro( in Vilnius they have day ticket about 2 euros)
I have given you aprox. prices for Kaunas, in Vilnius they could be some 15-20% higher in restaurants and bars. The seaside towns have prices bigger for hotels and bars.
