Hi,
I will visit Doha next July for a week. Anyone can suggest me interesting place to visit in Doha. Any nice mosque? forte?
or somewhere a bit out of town to see?
I also like to see market with typical local jewelery. Not that gold or expensive things, but more to ethnic jewelery

There is not much to do is Doha. The souk is in the centre of the town and worth a walk and a cup of coffee. I enjoyed walking along the corniche, but you may find that it is a bit hot for that. The Islamic Museum of Art is one of the highlights, but try and catch one of the tours (call them for days and times) as it was just lots of pots and pictures to me. There is a nice shopping centre with an italian theme and a stream that you can take a gondela ride on. Can't think of much else... maybe an early morning visit to the camel racetrack to see them walking the camels and the radio-jockeys.

You probably already know but for other people looking for information, the name of the Italian themed centre is Villagios. Its a big shopping center with designer shops. Hope you enjoyed your trip to Qatar!
