It is possible that Bodrum may feel slightly more muggy than Kos as there is likely to be more wind on the smaller area that is Kos however they are so close to each other that the temperature differential is minimal. Bodrum is sweltering in the summer as are all resorts on that stretch of the Aegean...I have been there when it is high 40's and have heard tell of 50 degrees+ a couple of summers ago when even the Bodrumites couldn't cope with the heat!
Bodrum is very humid in Summer and it can be quite a chore getting around in those conditions, it may take a newcomer a few days to acclimatise to teh heat and humidity.
