Hi, title says it all!

Considering albuferia for a stag party abroad, nothing too mental but we certainly want some lively bars etc.... How busy is Albufeira the first 2 weeks of april?

Easter is mainly a time for families with children (Portuguese as well as from overseas) and golfers.

Although most places will be open, the holiday season won't really be under way you will find plenty of bars and clubs.

I went to Albufeira in April 2006, and it was pretty dead to be honest.Not the sort of place I would go for a stag do,no matter how timid.Even the "Strip" was quite empty.We were there celebrating my in-laws Golden Wedding Anniversary,but even they commented on how it was very quiet.I have just come back from a weeks holiday in Albufeira and there quite a few stag weekenders going off,and they were having a great time,but it was busy,even though its the early part of the main summer season.
I suggest you try elsewhere.If you need the sunny weather then obviously the Canaries is the place to head for.Closer to home,what about Belfast? We went for a lads weekend, we are all mid 40's,and it was spot on.No sign of bother at all,had a great laugh.
