Hi,
I am currently staying in Saudi Arabia from the last 3 months. I got my Iqama around 45 days back. I am planning to go to bahrain for tourism. I came to know that I can travel by King fayad couseway and get the visa on arrival. But when I have checked the Bahrain govt site they have quoted that you need to be six month old resident of the gulf countries to get the visa on arrival. My current Imqama is valid for the next 10 months. Can some one please guide me about the exact policy? Regards, Ahmad |

The policy is very simple : You need an Iqama that is at least 6 months old and valid for at least another 6 months. If yours is only 45 days old, you don't qualify, unless you are one of those nationals that qualifies for a visa-on-arrival regardless of residence (mainly Europeans / North Americans).
