the best way is by taxi.

take bus 46 into central Barcelona (pl Espanya) and then metro to the cruise port
also there is an aerobus shuttle that does the run into plaça Espanya and from there connection by metro to the cruise terminal.

Hi, I would suggest two ways from the airport to the port. If your traveling light and would like to save a little, then you can take the aerobus shuttle (these is a bright yellow and dark blue bus). This aerobus shuttle will drop you at the center which we call Plaza Catalunya, from there you may take a taxi to the port. Now if you feel my first suggestion is too many transfers and unsure, then take the taxi approximately the taxi to the port would be 25Euros plus one euro per luggage which will be placed at the back compartment. It is not customary for us to give tips to the driver, but if you feel generous they will always appreciate that one euro tip.
Now there is also the train which will take you to Plaza Catalunya (the center of the city, although I really would not suggest to take the train unless someone familiar is with you as it is quite a long walk from the airport as well as trying to find a taxi as you exit the train for the port...still the best ways is to take the aerobus shuttle and get off the centre which is Plaza Catalunya then take the taxi to the port. Happy Cruising! AND ENJOY BARCELONA!

"best" has different meanings... quicker? cheaper? easier??

definitley the easier and quicker will be taxi (+/- 25€)

if budget is an issue and you travel light (you will find stairs and you'll have to walk a bit), you have a few options by public transport, but all involve one change. However, it will cost you as cheap as less than 2 € (or about 5 € when using Aerobus + other bus or metro)

you don't need to go until the very city centre in Pl. Catalunya

Both regular bus (#46 as said by pedmar, slower but cheaper) and Aerobus (quicker) stops in Pl. Espanya that is closer to the cruise port. There you can take:
- a taxi (+/- 10-15 €)
- metro
- another bus (#50, 57, 157)
but from the metro or bus stop there will be still at least a 10-15 min walk to your ship

another option is train to Sants + metro
