well galleries, restaurants, are typical tourist places which you will join by being not from there. Aix is a very nice town to walk about at the end of cours mirabeau turns into rue de l'opera turn left into blvd carnot passing behind Ste Madeleine church are very nice streets, going all the way by cours Saint-Louis to place bellegarde.

My best gallery there is Amis des Arts, 26 cours mirabeau
you can stop by the Les Fontaines on the pl de l'archéveché there is the fountain Espeluque, fountain Quattre Dauphins is near church of St Jean-de-Malte in the quartier Mazarin, and the best of my favorites is the fountain of the Rotonde at the heart of the city.

my favorite restos are Chez Maxime , 12 pl Ramus
Les Bacchanales,10 rue de la couronne

do not missed buying the towns favorites candies at teh Calissons du roy rene, 10 rue Clemenceau or the Confiserie d'Entrecasteaux, 2 rue d'Entrecasteaux.

hope it helps
