Budapest Pálvölgyi Cave or Matyas Cave
Posted: Thu June 4, 2009 04:14 PM UTC
Hello to all!

I would really love to try caving in budapest. Saw that there was 2 tours on caving in budapest. Anyone could recommand which one's better? I don't mind if its tough! Would be great if those who have gone on the caving tours before can tell me more abt them? Or any locals can recommand which cave had more beauty or more challenging etc? Thanks!

I've been to both caves, and both are worth seeing. Neither are difficult because it's a conducted tour (mostly in Hungarian unless the guide you have speaks a little English), so you won't be able to go off on your own to explore.
Both are I found quite difficult to find, so make sure you get on the right bus and get off in the right place or you will have an interesting time touring up and down the Budapest hills!
