Does anybody have information about Ibis Erawan ressort, which opened in May 2008? I do not find any ratings online...

Besides ratings I'm intrested in its site... How far is it to Bangla road and to Patong beach? The address is Chalermphrakiat Road Patong District Kathu 10 if this helps...

I do not know this hotel, but looking at the map I would say it is about 10-15 minutes walk from Soi Bangla.

Hi there, The hotel is in a good location at the northern end of Patong Beach. It takes about 10-15 mins to walk to Bangla Rd, depending on how fast you walk. There is a 7/11, laundry opposite and its about a 200 meter walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants, shops close by as well.

I had a look a room last year and it would have to be one of the smallest hotel rooms I have ever seen, they look bigger in the website photos.

The hotel next door Than Thip Villa looks much nicer, had a look in there for a friend the other day, great rooms, nice pools etc and good prices.
