Las Vegas Live music bars in Las Vegas

Hi

We've got a few nights in Veagas in July and would like live music and a beer in the evening - any music that includes drums!

Any venues that you'd recommend within a short taxi ride from NY, NY hotel?

Hi! I'm sure there are many other places, but there's live music pretty much every night at The House of Blues (http://www.houseofblues.com/venues/clubvenues/lasvegas/), it's located at the Mandalay Bay (there's a free tram service that connects it with the Excalibur, just across the street from NY, NY). At the NY, NY, there's live music at the Irish pub every night. Hope this helps!

Just about every hotel has a Live show lounge in their casino area. Most bands are cover bands. The Fontana Lounge in the Bellagio is quite good or was when I was there in November
