dubai beaches

hello friends, i just want to know is it safe to take shower in Dubai beaches in summer because the water is too hot, and there are only hot showers here in beaches in summer.Is the water good enough to take shower or can it cause damage to skin

Hi there,
Taking shower in public beaches maybe a little uncomfortable because water temperature can reach to +45 celsius. People who are not used would probebly get affected. Beach hotels have all facilities available including cold shower but a fee should be paid for using their facility!!

At this time of year we don't use our water heaters becuae the water from the 'cold' tap is actually hot. You can use the showers at the beaches but be careful and test the water temperature first.

Yep, I'd be very careful with using the showers. As Colin said: test the water first!

Also, just be aware that the Gulf / ocean is very shallow and heats-up tremendously in the summer months of July and August. It doesn't really cool you off when it's about 25 degrees warm!

Just to clarify: the water is about 25 degrees warm.
As Amir said: air temperature is anywhere between 45 and 52.

well thanks for the answer but are you sure that water temperature is 25 C in shower becasue the outside temperature in dubai can reach up to 50 C and i see people there in beaches taking shower and when i try i feel like its very hot i was worried if i damaged my scalp. i just want to know if its safe

Water in the beach shower will be very hot. For example, the water from my garden tap is really too hot to touch comfortably.

Nooooo, I meant the OCEAN water will be around 25 degrees warm.

The water from the shower will probably be a LOT hotter than that (as Colin said... too hot to touch)
