Want e-mail communication with a taxi/guide for tour in Warnemunde/Rostock UNESCO sites

Never heard of any UNESCO sites in Warnemünde or Rostock.

Are you talking about Wismar and Stralsund? These are entirely different towns and hiring a taxi for a day tour will cost an arm and a leg. The train is the way to go.

Sorry I cannot tell you much about Wismar now - I'm going at the end of this month (woohoo!) and have just started planning my own trip.

Stralsund is in the very opposite direction, so doing both in one day will be too much travelling. A nice stop along the way to Wismar, however, will be Bad Doberan with its abbey church, a jewel of medieval brick architecture.
Another option is Schwerin, which is half an hour from Wismar.

These two are on my schedule, too - I will be in the area for a week, with seaside resort Kühlungsborn as a base (family's choice, not mine).

Warnemünde station is really close to the cruise ships.

Best deal is the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Ticket. A day ticket covering all regional trains in this state. This ticket is valid

In case it's a weekday and you want to take the train Warnemünde dep 08:37 just buy a ticket to Rostock (EUR 1,70 per person) as the departure in Rostock will be past 9am (thus you can use the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Ticket.

Both cities have a common website - albeit they are in opposite directions from Warnemünde.
